My name is Debbie Miller. Life has a way of throwing you curve balls and that is what it has done to me. During the summer of 2016 I began not feeling well. I was coughing real bad and in August I was getting winded. I went to my family doctor and she treated me for asthma with steroid shots and steroid medication.
My condition remained the same. I then started to feel very tired and no energy. I was not able to keep up with my job. I took a 12 week leave from my job to find out what was wrong.
My doctor referred me to a pulmonary specialist. He did CT Scans and a Bronchoscopy. The CT revealed the signs of lung disease. The doctor sent the samples of the Bronchoscopy to the Mayo Clinic.
The tests came back showing I had a Nocardia Bacterial Infection. The doctor put me on antibiotics. I thought I was on my way to recovery but I was still having major symptoms. My job was understanding, but they said they needed me to work or take a voluntary leave. So I lost my job and insurance.
I recently had another CT Scan and the doctor said it was not good, there are still under laying problems in my lungs. The doctor says I need a Lung Biopsy which is major surgery to find out what is wrong with my lungs. My doctor said based on my symptoms it looks like I could have interstitial lung disease. There are many types and no one treatment. So lung tissue is needed to find out.
I will need to stay in the hospital for 3 to 5 days if no problems occur. I may even need to go into rehabilitation. I will not be able to do anything like driving or daily activities for at least 10 days. I will also need personal care help.
I do generate some income from books I have on Amazon but it is not enough to keep up with my living expenses, my household bills, current medical bills and upcoming medical bills.

The thing about writing pulp fiction is that it is not much different than writing a TV episode. Most TV series have a basic template from which they write.
In the TV template, they know that each story is broken into segments between commercials.
In the first segment, they need to present the drama of the episode.
In the second segment, they need to show the characters trying to wrap their heads around the challenges ahead.
In the third segment, the characters think they have figured out the solution, only to be stymied at having found the wrong answer.
As you see, there is a formula that we need to follow when telling our stories.

The biggest factor is knowing how to structure your plot elements, so that they will fit neatly into your story template.
